Krissy wanted me to share with you some big changes to Lashes By Krissy ❤️❤️❤️

The changes start with her story (which is a bit emotional, but I’m very proud of her).

Which she found hard to write herself, so I said “give me a go”.

I’m not sure if you knew, but Krissy grew up very poor, on an island in the South of the Philippines.

The island wasn’t an easy start to her life.

It was there that she walked km’s everyday to get water for the day with a bucket.

Walked an hour each way to school.

Only had 8 hours of electricity a day (the island would cut it off to save energy).

She would share half a cup of noodles with her younger brother for dinner at night if they didn’t have any money left.

And do her homework by gaslight each night when the power got cut off.

This was until about the age of 10.

This is her on the island at the age of 5.

After this time, she got the opportunity to go over to the mainland of Davao so she could continue her studies with family that lived there.

They had a small house outside of the city where they would breed chickens to make a living.

So from there, that’s when she started excelling in school, finishing top 5 in her classes and she actually thought, finally she may be able to goto Uni one day.

Which she never thought imaginable being on the island when she was young.

She applied.

And got in!

But it wasn’t easy.

To pay for Uni, she had to work at the Uni to pay her fees.

So 7am – 2pm for work, then 2pm – 9pm for study.

5 days a week.

Crazy to think an 18 yr old could do those hours in Australia.

And not get paid a cent for it.

But over in the Philippines they didn’t have the money to pay, so there was no choice.

But she knuckled down, worked and studied hard.

This is her working hard, bless her.

It was halfway through this degree that I met Krissy.

I was over in the Philippines for work as I have staff there.

We hit it off and the rest is history.

She moved to Australia about 6 years ago.

A couple of years later she started Lashes By Krissy.

Now it’s the biggest lash & brow salon in the Beaches.

It’s amazing to think about where 1 can come from, to what they can achieve.

It’s this past that Krissy wanted to make a change for the better.

Krissy now donates 1% off all profits from Lashes By Krissy to various charities to help women and children excel in life.

After every service we provide, 1% will goto a charity.

We call it Buy1 Give1.

When you buy a service from Lashes by Krissy, she gives to the charity for you.

So thank you for being a client and letting Krissy do this for struggling people in Australia and around the world.

It means the world to her that she could ever do something like this.
